Job summary

Group 1 Automotive, via Toyota of North Austin, is seeking a friendly Service BDC Agent to be the first point of contact for our service customers. You will answer questions, schedule appointments, explain maintenance, and help create a welcoming customer experience. Previous experience in customer service or call centers is a plus.

You will work with a supportive team and have opportunities for career advancement within Group 1 Automotive, a Fortune 250 leader in global automotive retail.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, call centers, telemarketing, collections, or appointment-setting preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers by phone, email, and text
• Respond promptly to service inquiries and appointment requests
• Schedule, confirm, and follow up on service appointments
• Make outbound calls to customers regarding maintenance needs and dealership services
• Follow established call scripts and customer communication processes
• Develop a strong understanding of available maintenance and repair services
• Maintain accurate customer records and document all interactions
• Assist customers with questions regarding dealership policies and procedures
• Process customer payments and provide accurate receipts when needed
• Work toward individual and departmental appointment and productivity goals
• Partner with service advisors and dealership leadership to deliver an excellent customer experience
