Suburban Toyota of Troy is seeking an Automotive BDC Agent to be the first point of contact for customers and drive showroom traffic by handling inquiries and scheduling appointments. The role emphasizes building relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for responding across calls, email, text, and online leads, maintaining CRM notes, and collaborating with sales teams to convert inquiries into appointments.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, call center, sales, retail, hospitality, or automotive experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking with customers on the phone throughout the day.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound phone calls, internet leads, text messages, and email inquiries.
• Engage prospective customers, gather information about their vehicle needs, and guide them through the next steps of the purchase process.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for the sales team.
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls to internet leads, unsold showroom traffic, service customers, and previous customers.
• Maintain accurate customer records and activity notes in the dealership CRM.
• Collaborate with Sales Consultants and Managers to ensure a seamless customer experience.
