Job summary

Stock Yards Bank & Trust in Florence, KY is seeking a Service Associate I to handle face-to-face customer banking transactions, sell bank products, and provide exceptional service. The role is in Retail with variable hours by branch and Saturdays by rotation, reporting to the Retail department.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and customer cash-handling experience, with opportunities for selling official checks and supporting daily teller operations.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, cash checks and balance a cash drawer.
• Cash checks following SYB check cashing policy.
• Sell official checks.
• Process and balance teller work through image capture.
• Consultative Selling – Engaging customers and prospects to uncover needs and offer solutions.
• Assist with beginning, end of day and other operational duties as needed.
• Participate in weekly team meetings.
