Job summary

Stock Yards Bank & Trust is seeking a Service Associate I in the Retail department to complete face-to-face customer banking transactions, sell and cross-sell bank products, and provide exceptional service.

Hours vary by branch location, with Saturdays by rotation. The role supports customer service and teller operations while collaborating with the team to meet branch goals.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and customer contact and cash handling experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer contact and cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify our 212 commitment to service.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, cash checks and balance a cash drawer.
• Cash checks following SYB check cashing policy; sell official checks.
• Process and balance teller work through image capture.
• Consultative selling – engage customers to uncover needs and offer solutions.
• Assist with beginning, end of day and other operational duties as needed.
• Participate in weekly team meetings.
