Job summary

JOEY Restaurants in Dallas, TX, is hiring a Service Assistant to support our service team and ensure a world-class hospitality experience for guests. No experience is required, and we provide training, with opportunities for growth and development.

You will assist servers, clear tables, and help maintain a pristine dining room while upholding safety and alcohol service regulations. This role offers a fast-paced, guest‑facing environment with a team‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and Alcohol Server/Seller permits.
• Possess a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods, with lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Assist servers in delivering exceptional service and a pristine environment for our guests.
• Clear and set tables in a timely manner.
• Monitor and assist with the delivery of guest beverages and food orders.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant by bussing tables of glassware, dishes, and cutlery.

As aService Assistant, you support the success of your restaurant service team. Duties

• Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience. Show them what Iconic Hospitality means!
• Assistservers in delivering exceptional service and a pristine environmentfor our guests.
• Clear and set tablesin a timely manner.
• Monitor andassistwith the delivery of guest beverage and food orders.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant by bussing tables of glassware, dishes, and cutlery.
• Resolve service issues and guest complaints with a sense of urgency, poise, and good judgment.It'sYour Business.
• Complete assigned opening, side work, and closing duties to set your team up for success. Stock, clean, and organize service stations and sections.
• Assisttheguestservicesteam with front door duties, seating guests, and other requests as needed.
• Reinforce guest identification requirements and age restrictions for alcohol salesin accordance withstate law.
• Follow all food and alcohol service and handling safety precautions and procedures.

Basic Qualifications
