Job summary

Jobtailor in Wayland, MA is seeking a friendly restaurant team member to deliver food and beverages with accuracy, assist guests, and keep the dining room polished.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability preferred - may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
• Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, reach, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages accurately, with a clear understanding of menu details.
• Assist with guest needs and relay questions or concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Clear and reset tables within 3 minutes of guest departure.
• Assist with packaging takeout orders.
• Maintain awareness of the dining room and proactively assist where needed.
• Keep kitchen expo areas, service stations, and dining room clean and organized.
• Polish and restock silverware, glassware, and plateware throughout the shift.
• Monitor and remove trash and recycling regularly.
• Ensure safe and clear walkways for guests and staff at all times.
• Memorize table and seat numbers to aid in efficient service.
• Learn menu details, ingredients, and allergen protocols.
• Communicate guest concerns clearly to team leads.
• Assist FOH staff during high-volume periods.
• Help with opening and closing duties, including setting/resetting the dining room.
