Job summary

Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp. in Minneapolis, MN, seeks a Service Application Engineer to provide technical and commercial support for global customers.

You will assist with prospecting service business, prepare quotes, and coordinate with factories and partners to deliver optimal customer experiences. Qualifications include a BS in a related field and 2+ years inside sales; proficiency in MS Office and SAP is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree required or related field.
• 2+ years of general industrial inside sales experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical and commercial support for large industrial motor, generator and turbine customers.
• Prospect new service business and quote services.
• Coordinate with factories and partners to develop sales proposals and quotes.
• Bid projects by reviewing RFPs and customer specs.
• Maintain KPI data and quote databases; ensure commercial integrity.
