Job summary

Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp., is seeking a Service Application Engineer in Minneapolis, MN. The role supports large industrial motors, generators, and turbines, prospecting service opportunities and delivering compelling proposals.

You will coordinate with internal teams to bid projects, prepare accurate quotes, and ensure seamless project handoffs, with travel as needed and a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in marketing, business, industrial technology or related field.
• 2+ years of general industrial inside sales experience preferred.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency to respond to customer requests.
• Excellent oral and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management; able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong ability to interact with internal/external customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SAP proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assistance and technical support for service customers worldwide.
• Prospect new service business and quote various services to customers.
• Develop sales proposals with factories and partners for best customer experience.
• Coordinate with Service Engineering, Field Service and Outside Sales on bids.
• Enter customer orders into the service quote database and track KPIs.
