Job summary

Ed Morse Automotive Group is hiring a Service Advisor to be the primary contact for customers needing repair and maintenance service. You will work to maximize parts and service sales while delivering exceptional, personalized service across multiple brands and locations.

You will report to the Service Manager and collaborate with sales managers, technicians, and group leaders to resolve concerns, greet customers warmly, and provide accurate estimates for recommended work.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be well spoken with excellent telephone skills.
• Provide exceptional personalized service to our guests and community.
• Maintain a customer satisfaction rating above zone average.
• Handle minor customer complaints and/or misunderstandings with professionalism, courtesy and tact.

Responsibilities

• Act as the principal contact between the dealership and customer for repair and maintenance service on their vehicles.
• Provide customer satisfaction and maximize dealership sales of parts and service.
• Report to the Service Manager/Service Director and collaborate with sales managers, group leaders, and technicians.
• Work with management to handle customers with complaints that cannot be satisfied at the service writer level.
• Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
• Greet service customers warmly and be a helpful host.
• Listen to customer reasons for bringing their vehicle to the service department.
• Offer logical diagnostic services or repairs to satisfy customer concerns.
• Provide accurate estimates for all services or repairs recommended.
