Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to act as the liaison between customers and our service team. You will help customers plan maintenance, explain repair recommendations, and identify up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, excellent communication, and delivering an outstanding customer experience across our service lanes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet sales goals and provide a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and CSI.
• Greet customers when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs based on information and walk-around/test drives.
• Use consultative selling to plan for ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts to ensure timely work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
• Gain product knowledge to help customers.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
