Job summary

Walser Automotive Group is seeking a customer-focused service associate in Kansas to greet guests, document vehicle details, and coordinate repairs with technicians.

You will estimate time and costs, communicate clearly with guests, and support service operations while upholding Walser's core values. A valid driver's license and basic MS Office skills are required. Training is provided and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Past experience working with a high level of urgency.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Experience interacting with customers and providing a positive experience.
• High level of detail orientation and accuracy.
• Beginner to intermediate level of technical proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Proven experience working within a team environment.
• Tekion, Reynolds and Reynolds, or other Dealer Management Systems experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Act as the face of Walser service by greeting customers as they enter the service drive.
• Perform vehicle walk-arounds, record mileage and VIN, transport to bays, and write repair orders.
• Understand basic automotive repairs, estimate time and cost of service.
• Serve as liaison between technicians and customers to set clear visit expectations.
• Collaborate with service admin and technicians to generate hours and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Prospect and sell dealership services and manage current work in progress.
• Follow up with customers to build repeat business and loyalty.
• Stage vehicles and shuttle customers as needed, adhering to safety rules.
• Utilize TruVideo/Estimate Tool and follow Walser processes.
