Job summary

Dyer & Dyer Volvo, a Sonic Automotive family dealership in the Atlanta area, seeks an experienced Service Advisor to guide customers through service appointments, provide accurate estimates, and manage promised times. You will greet customers, monitor progress, and ensure proper authorization for additional repairs.

The role requires two years of Service Advisor experience, solid vehicle knowledge, and excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Two years of Service Advisor experience required.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments and collects customer and vehicle data.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Provides a complete written cost estimate for labor and parts and sets promised time.
• Monitors repair progress and communicates any changes to customers with rationale.
• Test-drives the vehicle or coordinates with the test technician as needed.
• Maintains CSI at or above manufacturer/branch averages.
• Advises customers on vehicle care per manufacturer specs and maintenance menus.
• Follows safety policies and reports accidents promptly.
