Job summary

Clearwater Toyota, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, is seeking service department team members to schedule service appointments and collect vehicle data. You will greet customers and provide accurate cost estimates for labor and parts, establishing promised times and tracking repair progress.

Test drives may be required and clear communication with customers is essential. Maintain a high CSI rating, advise on manufacturer-maintained care, and contribute to a positive customer experience in

Qualifications

• Schedules service appointments and collects customer and vehicle data.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Provides complete and accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts.
• Maintains progress updates and communicates changes to customers.
• Tests drives the vehicle or assigns to a test technician as needed.
• Supports maintaining Customer Satisfaction Index at or above manufacturer/branch averages.
• Advises customers on vehicle maintenance per manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts. Establishes "promised time".
• Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding changes and obtains authorization for additional work.
• Test-drive the vehicle or refer to the test technician as necessary.
• Maintain CSI rating at least comparable to manufacturer/branch average.
• Advise customers on care and maintenance per manufacturer specs.
