Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of accounting practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• General knowledge of office procedures.
• Familiarity with mechanical/technical terms preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate forklift.
• Knowledge of local sale and resale values of machinery.
• Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Positive attitude; agricultural background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fields internal and external customer inquiries for the Service Department.
• Opens work orders; maintains control until they are closed and invoiced.
• Updates customer profiles using equipment hours or other information from the customer work orders.
• Maintains service accessories and supplies and prepares replacement orders when necessary.
• Prepares warranty and/or product improvement submissions by the Central Warranty Administrator.
• Assists customers with mower or equipment loading/unloading when necessary.
• Performs other duties as directed by management in-line with dealership objectives.
• Close and process RO’s for payment when needed.
• Assist technicians with parts lookup, pulling parts from stock and processing MD orders.
• Assist on the parts counter when necessary.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and staging equipment for service.
• Act as an ambassador for the dealership and promote customer loyalty.
