Job summary

Preston Auto Group in Ohio is seeking a Service Advisor to be the face of our service department, greeting guests, scheduling appointments, and translating repair needs between customers and technicians. You will build trust with guests, upsell services with integrity, provide accurate repair estimates, and keep customers informed every step of the way throughout the service experience.

Ideally, candidates have strong people skills, automotive service experience, and a proven ability to maintain

Responsibilities

• Greet service department customers promptly and courteously
• Listen to customers and clearly translate repair needs to technicians
• Upsell additional services using low-pressure, high-integrity methods
• Provide accurate repair and maintenance estimates
• Adhere to policies on vehicle care and operation
• Follow up on each repair and keep customers informed of progress
• Sell and manage extended warranties
• Inspect repair quality and ensure all work is complete
• Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup
• Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers
• Handle minor customer concerns and complaints
• Keep the Service Manager informed of all problems and potential problems
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in accordance with dealership standards

Service Advisor

Preston Auto Group is looking for a Service Advisor who is an expert in the art and science of customer service. This role acts as the liaison between customers and service technicians, making sure every guest feels welcome and confident that their vehicle is in good hands.

As a Service Advisor, you'll be the face of our service department — greeting guests, scheduling appointments, and translating repair needs between customers and techs. This role is a great fit for someone with strong people skills who can build trust, sell with integrity, and keep customers informed every step of the way.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment
• Sales ability with a low-pressure, high-integrity approach
• Automotive service or advisor experience preferred
