Job summary

W.W. Williams is seeking a Service Advisor to support technicians and manage a profitable service department. You will help staff the service team, ensure strong customer satisfaction, monitor costs, and set objectives to keep work scheduled and performed to customer expectations.

You will interact with customers to diagnose needs, propose solutions, and coordinate quotes and work orders. The role emphasizes communication, service quality, and efficient workflow across the shop.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in heavy duty dealership or diesel service environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone or in person to identify concerns and needs.
• Match customer needs with product and service offerings and propose solutions.
• Coordinate between customers and shop personnel to determine work and quotes.
• Stay in contact with customers and document quotes, authorizations, and requests.
• Open and close work orders in a timely manner.
• Verify equipment warranty status with assistance from warranty department.
