Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to connect customers with our service technicians and explain maintenance recommendations in clear terms. This role emphasizes selling opportunities to keep vehicles safe and customers informed throughout the service process.

You will greet customers, discuss vehicle needs, prepare repair orders with estimates, and follow up to ensure satisfaction while contributing to a high-performance service team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Valid in-state driver's license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals & customer satisfaction.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner on arrival.
• Determine vehicle needs based on information and walk-arounds.
• Use a consultative selling process for ongoing maintenance planning.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates, with transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts to ensure timely completion.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
• Gain product knowledge to help customers effectively.
• Delivers exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
