Job summary

Keweenaw Chevrolet GMC is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to be the key link between customers and the service department. You will deliver a welcoming experience and help ensure every vehicle service visit runs smoothly from start to finish.

You will greet customers, assess service needs, coordinate scheduling, educate on parts options, and keep customers informed throughout repairs, while maintaining accurate service records and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Proven problem-solving abilities in a service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional personal presentation and customer-facing demeanor.
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• CDK experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the service department with a professional first impression.
• Consult with technicians to explain repairs and service options clearly.
• Educate customers on OEM and aftermarket parts options.
• Answer questions about services, timelines and outcomes.
• Advise on warranty coverage and cost-saving opportunities.
• Create repair orders and route vehicles for maintenance and repair.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service records.
• Schedule appointments by phone, online, in person, and walk-ins.
• Monitor progress and update customers on changes and readiness.
