Responsibilities include estimating costs, handling payments, verifying warranties, and coordinating towing or transportation for customers. Must be flexible to work nights and weekends with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to drive a manual vehicle preferred, but not required.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Experience working in cashier/credit card systems preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Flexibility with schedule to work nights and weekends.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Must be able to manage relationships across all channels and levels.

Responsibilities

• Review daily appointment schedules and greet customers in the drive with knowledge of their appointment.
• Review primary appointment reason with the customer and identify other vehicle issues.
• Generate repair orders for customers.
• Dispatch the job to the properly trained technician.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor.
• Calculate customer payments including deductibles.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining documents and records.
• Arrange towing and temporary transportation for the customer.
• Answer incoming calls to address concerns and set future service appointments.
• Make outgoing calls to update customers on service status.
• Additional training or responsibilities as needed by Service Manager.
