Job summary

Lithia & Driveway’s L0457 Kia of Round Rock is hiring a Service Advisor to act as the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring clear understanding of needed repairs and approvals.

You will prepare repair orders, communicate additional service needs, and manage warranty administration while keeping customers informed on costs and timelines. A professional, team-focused demeanor and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor/Service Writer experience.
• Polished and professional demeanor.
• Ability to communicate technical terms to a non-technical audience.
• Create a truly memorable experience for our customers.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
