McSweeney CDJR in Pell City, Alabama seeks a Service Advisor with automotive service experience to be the primary contact for customers, document concerns, and explain repairs.

You will coordinate with technicians, keep customers informed, and maintain accurate records. Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills are essential. Saturday availability is expected as part of a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service experience as a Service Advisor or related role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers
• Proficient in documenting concerns, explaining repairs and processing approvals
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Familiarity with dealership procedures and computer systems

McSweeney CDJR has a Service Advisor position available for the right person with experience, a proven track record of customer satisfaction, exceeding goal projections, great shop communications and a can-do attitude. Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers who need automotive service or repairs
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
• Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance based on customer concerns and vehicle inspections
• Explain repair estimates and obtain customer approval for work to be performed
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Experience

• Previous experience in the automotive industry, preferably as a Service Advisor or in a related role
• Knowledge of auto body repair, suspension, diesel engine repair, brake repair, and other automotive services
• Familiarity with dealership operations and procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer skills for entering and retrieving customer information
• Tekion and wiADVISOR experience a plus
• Available to work Saturdays
