McSweeney Auto Chevrolet GMC/CDJR in Alabama is seeking a Service Advisor to join our growing team. You’ll be at the forefront of automotive service, coordinating customer vehicles for servicing and ensuring satisfaction in a state-of-the-art dealership.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will handle appointments, quotes, invoices, and upsell parts and services while keeping customers informed of progress and timelines.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a service advisor or service writer.
• Above-average phone and communication skills.
• Positive, upbeat attitude with upselling ability.
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Ability to explain technical information in non-technical terms.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Make appointments, process repair orders, quotes and invoices.
• Provide customer support via phone and face-to-face at the dealership.
• Qualifying customer problems and logging them for technicians to review.
• Ensuring customer approval for all remedial work to be carried out.
• Promoting our range of vehicle parts and accessories.
• Internal coordination of service work to adhere to commitments made to customers.
• Estimating costs and time for work to be carried out, and maintaining customer contact to ensure smooth delivery of vehicle.
• Updating customers of repair progress.

Qualifications
