Job summary

Bill Cramer Auto in Panama City is seeking a Service Advisor to join our growing team. The position offers commission-based earnings with a steady flow of work and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

You will act as the liaison between customers and technicians, handle estimates, repair orders, and warranty administration while promoting service specials and keeping customers informed on timing and costs.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs by identifying problems and writing repair orders; verify warranty coverage.
• Serve as the communicator between customer and technician to ensure needs are understood.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage; explain provisions and exclusions.
• Develop estimates by costing parts, labor and materials; present pricing to customers.
• Prepare repair orders detailing symptoms, problems and required services; obtain approvals.
• Communicate additional repair needs based on vehicle inspection and timelines.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for qualifying repairs.
• Greet customers professionally and help resolve concerns; discuss service options and timelines.

Bill Cramer Auto is currently looking for a Service Advisor to join our growing team. Service Advisor earn a great income! This position is commission based only, but we will bring the work to you! Our Service Departments are growing due to high customer demand, so you will have no problem having work day to day. Service Advisor can earn an above average income. Service Advisor Responsibilities:

• As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records.
• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Present a friendly, professional greeting to customers and helps identify, confirm and offer resolution to customer concerns.
• Consult with customers on applicable service specials and keeping customer informed on completion times and service expenses.
