Job summary

Palmen Auto Stores in Wisconsin is seeking a Service Advisor to oversee our GM service department, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective service for customers. You’ll manage service flow, coordinate with staff, and maintain policies while supporting the customer experience throughout each visit.

The role requires strong time management, a clean driving record, and familiarity with GM processes (CDK/ADP is a plus).

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• GM Dealership experience as a Service Advisor strongly preferred.
• CDK/ADP knowledge required.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service orders and flow of Service Drive Lanes.
• Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Take ownership of the customer’s experience and complete assignments to leave a positive impression.
• Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, in person or by phone.
• Ensure daily inventory of technicians’ time is sold to service customers.
• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.

Job description

Reporting to our Service Manager, our Service Advisor will oversee our GM service department ensuring that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service. A large part of this role will be customer service however, this person will also be responsible for much of the service staff. Those duties include management of time inventory, enforcing company policies and standards, and compliance with state laws and regulations. We strongly prefer someone with experience with GM however, it is not required. This opportunity will not last long with our competitive salary, bonus, and company benefits!

Responsibilities (not limited to):
