Job summary

Gateway Truck & Refrigeration in Franksville, WI is seeking a Parts Counter professional to deliver exceptional in-person and phone support, utilizing knowledge of replacement parts and systems across product lines. The role involves assisting with inventory, coordinating orders with Sales and Service, and maintaining merchandising and department standards.

Successful candidates will be safety focused, possess a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• 2+ years' experience as a Parts Counter person or similar position preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service to in-person and over the phone customers.
• Answer and resolve customer questions using component and product knowledge of replacement parts and systems for all product lines.
• Promote all merchandising specials, advertisement, and product lines awareness to customers to drive units per sale.
• Assist in warehouse and vehicle inventory counts and adjustments.
• Partner with Sales and Service department to fulfill customer orders.
• Assist in parts display merchandising, warehouse maintenance and department housekeeping to include shipping and receiving parts orders.
• Adhere to all GTR policies and procedures for pricing, loss inventory prevention and tracking loss sales.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Duties
