Job summary

Gateway Industrial Power, Incorporated in West Chicago, IL is hiring a Parts Counterperson to provide expert customer service, answer questions, and drive parts sales. You will assist with inventory, coordinate with Sales and Service, and help maintain displays and housekeeping in the parts department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience as a Parts Counter person or similar position preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service to in-person and over the phone customers
• Answer and resolve customer questions using component and product knowledge of replacement parts and systems for all product lines
• Promote all merchandising specials, advertisement, and product lines awareness to customers to drive units per sale
• Assist in warehouse and vehicle inventory counts and adjustments
• Partner with Sales and Service department to fulfill customer orders
• Assist in parts display merchandising, warehouse maintenance and department housekeeping to include shipping and receiving parts orders
• Adhere to all GTR policies and procedures for pricing, loss inventory prevention and tracking loss sales
• Other duties as assigned

Job Duties:
