Meineke Car Care Centers is seeking a Service Advisor for a busy automotive service center in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer relationship skills, strong service writer capabilities, and prior management experience.

Every day is different in our operation; you will address customers’ needs, manage required documentation, and lead a team to maintain profitability and customer satisfaction. This locally owned shop emphasizes teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• At least two years of experience as an automotive service writer or service advisor.
• Experience as an automotive service manager is preferred.
• Deep understanding of automotive technology and repair services is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of automotive service professionals to ensure high morale and customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability.
• Answer calls and convert prospects into booked appointments.
• Use Auto Vitals Inspection data to communicate customer concerns and needs.
• Utilize POS to build and present customer estimates.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Mentor employees on sales and customer service techniques.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of technicians and workflow.
• Manage service department paperwork including invoices and repair orders.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer relationship skills, strong service writer capabilities, and previous management experience.

Every day is different in our busy automotive service center! You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including addressing customers needs and concerns, managing required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of automotive service professionals to ensure a high level of employee morale and customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability
• Utilizing phone procedures to answer the phone and convert caller into center. (booking appts for services needed).
• Utilize the digital platforms (Auto Vitals Inspection) that provide inspection information to communicate to the customer on their concerns and needs.
• Utilizing POS to build and present customer estimates.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Mentor employees on best practices for improving sales and customer service techniques
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Technicians and workflow.
• Manage the flow of service department paperwork, including invoices, repair orders, parts and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required bachelor’s degree preferred
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record are required
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and background screening
• At least two years of experience as an automotive service writer or service advisor is required. Experience as an automotive service manager is preferred
• Deep understanding of automotive technology, automotive service technician job duties, and automotive repair services is required

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
