Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Eugene is hiring an experienced Service Advisor to initiate automotive services, develop estimates, and manage repair orders. This role requires strong customer focus, basic mechanical understanding, and the ability to navigate dealership systems.

It offers a base plus commission and CSI bonuses, with a Monday–Friday schedule and one rotating Saturday per month onsite in Eugene, OR.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Service Advisor/Writer in a dealership.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Must be a team player and collaborate with colleagues.
• Valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Wavorable to rotating Saturday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs, and verify warranty coverage.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor.
• Write repair orders and maintain customer records.
• Serve as liaison between customer and technician to ensure clear communication.
• Communicate additional repair needs and service options to customers.
• Administer manufacturer warranties for qualifying repairs.

This involves ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, developing estimates, writing repair orders, and maintaining customer records.Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure the technician understands the customer's needs and the customer understands the needed and recommended service/repairs.Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.Keeping customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.What You'll Bring1+ year of previous experience in a dealership as a Service Advisor/Writer.Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.We require a team player that wants to join a growing team.Confidence navigating dealership technology.
