Job summary

Texas Collision Centers Inc is seeking a Service Advisor to assess vehicle damage, prepare repair estimates, and guide customers through the repair process.

You will communicate with customers and insurers, obtain repair authorizations, and ensure accurate check-in and handoff of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damage to determine scope (body, structural, mechanical or interior).
• Prepare repair estimates for customers.
• Explain repair process to customers and obtain authorization.
• Communicate with customers and insurers regarding damages and repairs.
• Complete vehicle check-in with the customer and provide updates.
• Explain estimated repair time and any changes to the customer.
• Perform final Quality Control inspection and hand vehicle back to customer.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Job Location: TCC#8-Carrolton - Carrollton, TX 75006

Job Summary:
Service Advisor is responsible for inspecting and determining repairs needed by visually inspecting a vehicle.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Examine damage to determine the extent of body, structural, mechanical, or interior damage
• Prepare estimates to repair vehicle
• Explain repair process to customers
• Communicate with customers insurance related to damages and obtain repair authorization
• Complete vehicle check-in with customer
• Explain and communicate repair process, estimated repair time and any updates with the customer
• Handle total loss process
• Perform final Quality Control inspection
• Upon completion of repair work, deliver vehicle to customer
• Comply with all TCC’s safety standards, guidelines, and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Prior automotive collision estimating experience
• Experience with preparing estimates in CCC One preferred
• Proficient with a computer and software

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• Must be able to lift 10 lbs. regularly.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
• Must be able to reach below and above shoulder level
