Job summary

Texas Collision Centers in Fort Worth is seeking a skilled Body Technician to perform collision repair work on commercial trucks and other vehicles, with emphasis on quality, timeliness and safety.

You will dis-assemble vehicles, plan repair steps, and repair/replace damaged components, using grinding, welding, and finishing techniques. Thorough inspection and testing ensure readiness for paint while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Exceptional auto body repair skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
• Ability to read service and repair manuals.
• Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Dis-assemble vehicle in order to assist in identifying damaged components

Duties/Responsibilities

• Dis-assemble vehicle in order to assist in identifying damaged components
• Plan Auto Body Repair steps according to the Repair Plan
• Repair/Replace damaged body components as identified
• Grind, file, sand, weld, cut etc...
• Thoroughly inspect and test repaired vehicles to ensure all necessary repairs are complete and vehicle is ready for paint
• Comply with all TCC's safety standards, guidelines and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Good vision to inspect repair work.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
• Must be able to reach below and above shoulder level
