Job summary

Texas Collision Centers Inc in Plano, TX seeks a Service Advisor to assess vehicle damage and determine repairs by visually inspecting the vehicle. You will prepare repair estimates, explain the process to customers, and coordinate with insurers to obtain repair authorization.

You will manage vehicle check-in, communicate timelines, handle total loss processes when needed, and ensure final QC inspection and safe delivery to customers in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive collision estimating experience.
• Experience with preparing estimates in CCC One preferred.
• Proficient with a computer and software.

Responsibilities

• Examine damage to determine the extent of body, structural, mechanical, or interior damage.
• Prepare estimates to repair vehicle.
• Explain repair process to customers.
• Communicate with customers insurance related to damages and obtain repair authorization.
• Complete vehicle check-in with customer.
• Explain and communicate repair process, estimated repair time and updates with the customer.
• Handle total loss process.
• Perform final Quality Control inspection.
• Deliver vehicle to customer upon completion of repair work.
• Comply with all safety standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
