Job summary

Lithia Chevrolet GMC of Helena is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicle systems, perform maintenance, and ensure quality service. You will use diagnostic tools and communicate with service advisors and customers about needs and procedures.

You must have 1+ year of automotive experience and a valid driver's license with a good driving record. ASE cert not required; flexible schedule incl. evenings, weekends, holidays.

• 1+ year of automotive experience.
• ASE certification is not required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems (engine, electrical, etc.).
• Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems quickly and accurately.
• Communicate with service advisors and customers about maintenance and repairs.

Dealership: L0146 Lithia Chevrolet GMC of Helena Lithia Chevrolet GMC of Helena Hiring: Service Technician Pay: Pay Range: $25.00–$35.00 Flat Rate Hour (DOE) Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Service Department Hours: Monday - Friday; 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM - Saturday; 8:0 AM - 2:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to ensure quick and accurate problem identification.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about maintenance and repair needs and procedures.
• Stay up to date with automotive technology and techniques through continuous learning and training.

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ year of Automotive experience
• ASE certification is not required
