Job summary

Howdy Honda in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to bridge customers and technicians, ensuring needs are understood and repairs are clearly explained.

You will prepare repair orders, obtain approvals, and document RO in our service database, while communicating inspections, warranty handling, and service costs. This role rewards customer care, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Prior Service Advisor/Service Writer experience.
• Polished, professional demeanor and strong customer service.
• Ability to explain technical terms to non-technical customers.
• Team player with good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communicator between customer and technician to understand needs.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtain approvals, and log into the service database.
• Inform customers of additional repair needs based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for eligible repairs.
• Keep customers informed about service specials, timing, and costs.
