Job summary

John Eagle Honda of Houston is seeking a Service Advisor/Service Writer to act as the liaison between customers and technicians at our Northwest Houston service center. You will prepare repair orders, obtain approvals, and clearly communicate recommended services and costs to customers, including warranty administration.

Previous service-advisor experience and a polished, professional demeanor are required to create a memorable customer experience and ensure smooth service operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor/Service Writer or similar role.
• Ability to explain technical terms to non-technical customers.
• Professional demeanor and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communicator between customer and technician to ensure needs are understood.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtain approvals, and enter RO into the service database.
• Explain additional repair and service needs to customers based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for qualifying repairs.
• Keep customers informed of service specials, times, and costs.
