Job summary

Lithia Hyundai of Anchorage is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to be the primary contact for service customers and help deliver an exceptional ownership experience. This role identifies maintenance opportunities and recommends repairs to meet customer needs.

You will handle calls, walk-arounds, and service documentation, while coordinating with technicians and ensuring clear communication of timelines and costs. A friendly, sales-minded attitude is desired.

Qualifications

• 6 month to 1 year of experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication.
• Typing – entering repair orders.
• Mathematics – calculating service costs and change.
• Computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and greet customers while following established procedures.
• Build positive relationships by identifying concerns and needs and offering service solutions.
• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds to evaluate service requirements and recommend maintenance/repairs.
• Communicate service recommendations, costs, timelines and completion dates to customers.
• Secure customer approval for services and inspections.
• Prepare repair orders and service documentation in the ADP system.
• Coordinate repair activities and dispatch work to technicians.
• Provide status updates to keep customers informed.
• Manage the customer delivery process and explain completed work.

Dealership: L0127 Lithia Hyundai of Anchorage Lithia Hyundai of Anchorage Hiring: Service Advisor Pay: $5,000 - $12,000 per month. Commission Earnings Based on Performance and Experience. Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming calls and greet customers while following established customer contact procedures.

• Secure customer approval for recommended services, multi-point inspections, and any additional repair requests.
• Prepare accurate repair orders and service documentation using the ADP system while supporting upfront pricing standards.
• Coordinate repair activities by dispatching work to technicians and maintaining service requirements and progress.
• Provide ongoing status updates throughout the repair process to ensure customers remain informed and engaged.
• Manage the customer delivery process, including reviewing completed work, explaining services performed, and returning vehicles promptly.
• Process customer payments, ensure a seamless Sales-to-Service experience, and deliver exceptional customer service from initial contact through vehicle pickup.
