Job summary

Doggett Warehouse Solutions is seeking a Service Administrator to support the service department, handle work orders, process repairs, and manage daily shop operations and billing in Houston, TX. The role involves field service coordination, delivery tasks, and ensuring accurate communication of repair status and costs.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to interact with customers and internal teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2–4 years experience in automotive/construction service administrator role preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide service information to customers and schedule service needs.
• Assist in appraisal and quote process for equipment repair.
• Coordinate parts and labor requirements with Service Manager for work orders.
• Assist in scheduling shop assignments, field service work and delivery of equipment.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Conduct opening and closing of work orders.
• Provide clerical assistance, including some correspondence and data entry.
• Develop positive customer relations by communicating repair status and charges for equipment repairs.
• Greet service customers and answer calls to schedule service appointments.
• Advise customers of estimated service and repair costs; review details of service/repair invoice.
• Communicate progress of repair/service orders.
• Obtain necessary documentation to close open job orders.
• Accurately bill all open invoices to customers.
• Communicate with relevant parties regarding billing issues.
• Create documentation relevant to billing activities.
• Gather, process, and disburse information related to billing.
