Join Meadowbrook Country Club to provide high level service to Members and guests. Both full‑time and part‑time positions are available in dining rooms and patio.
Applicants will have previous experience in a country club, restaurant, or hotel. You must be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, engaging with Members and guests.
Qualifications
- Friendly and open attitude.
- Customer service experience required.
- Proof of Hep A vaccination is required.
- Certificate of Missouri Alcohol Responsibility Training (SMART) required if of legal age to serve alcohol.
Responsibilities
- Uphold the highest level of service for Members and guests.
- Maintain a friendly and open attitude for all Members and staff alike.
- Setup, maintain, and break down banquet functions including linens, china, silverware, glassware, server stations, and banquet service items.
- Understand Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and follow through with event information.
- Greets Members and guides them through service, understanding steps of service for banquet and à la carte events.
- Maintain “Sense of Urgency” on and off the floor.
- Ensure proper storage of all banquet and food items.
- Move and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
- Work as a team with Banquet and à la carte staff, anticipate and go above and beyond for Members.
- Adhere to set quality, consistency, and efficiency expectations and standards.
- Communicate changes to Food and Beverage Manager and back‑of‑house leader as needed.
- Assume ownership of section and table service throughout each shift.
- All other duties as assigned by A la Carte Server Captain and Food & Beverage Director.
Working Conditions
Restaurant setting in a hot, humid, and noisy environment.
Physical Requirements
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist to reach.
- Push, pull or lift to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
