Job summary

Cedarbrook Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server for the afternoon shift to help residents enjoy meals and celebrate life every day.

You will receive and deliver orders, know the menu, handle special requests, maintain a clean and sanitary dining area, and ensure health and safety standards are followed. This role also involves opening and closing duties and supporting a calm, attentive service environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to handle menu, daily specials, and questions.

• Work calmly under pressure.

• Receive and deliver accurate orders to and from residents and supervisors.
• Must be knowledgeable and confident about the menu, daily specials, and food preparation.
• Handle special requests and menu related questions with accuracy and promptness.
• Expedite, carry, and deliver multiple plates of food efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure health, food, and safety codes and regulations are implemented at all times.
• Execute opening and closing duties pertinent to scheduled shift.
• Provide and promote a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Knowledge of all menu items, specifications of ingredients, portions, and procedures.
• Work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Perform pre-bussing/bussing of tables timely and consistently.
