The Yakutat Lodge in Alaska is hiring a server/bartender for the 2026 season. This role requires handling a high-volume restaurant in a remote camp setting, with 60-hour weeks and 10-hour shifts. A professional appearance and strong client interaction are essential.
Applicants must be 21+, have Alaska Food Handlers and Serve Safe tests, and a valid driver's license. Room and board are included, with a generous tip package and end-of-season bonus for qualifying staff.

The Yakutat Lodge is looking to hire a server/ bartender for our 2026 season. We operate a high-volume restaurant located in the city of Yakutat and serve food to public and private clientele. Our restaurant has a diverse menu based primarily off standard American cuisine. Workdays are 10 hours 6 days per week. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Applicant will need to pass an Alaska Food Handlers Test and Serve Safe Test. We are a small restaurant that pumps out a lot of food in short amount of time so someone who can handle a rush without breaking down is a must. We have 15 tables in the lodge/restaurant. 4 top tables and a few 2 top tables with 7 bar stools. The ability to handle high volume in a remote camp setting is a must. Applicant must have a good attitude and appearance, ability to handle/talk with clients personally and be able to perform all duties in a professional manner. We hire people from all walks of life so it’s important to be able to work well with others.
The Yakutat Lodge has been in business since the late 80s and has provided our clientele with the finest customer service available in the industry. Applicant will live in a shared housing situation and may or may not have a roommate. Yakutat Alaska is a small fishing village located on the Norther tip of the Alaska Panhandle. There is no road system and the only way to travel is by boat or plane. The town does have some amenities i.e. (grocery stores, post office, gym, medical and dental clinic) but is still pretty remote. We do have Wi-Fi and cell service (AT&T) and there will be ample opportunities to explore and go fishing. Our Perfect candidate will have a professional attitude and appearance, not be a drug addict or alcoholic and be able to handle high pressure situations. This job is hard work and does require a 60-hour work week. Many of our employees have been with the lodge for several years some as many as 15+.
