Alyeska Resort is seeking a Bartender to join our on-site team in Girdwood, Alaska. You will craft cocktails, serve beverages, and maintain high guest service levels in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Bartender setting preferred.
• TAPS Card required.
• Ability to multitask while providing exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages ordered through the bar system.
• Mix ingredients to create cocktails and other drinks.
• Serve wine, beer, espresso drinks; assist with inventory and par levels.
• Stock and prep products for the bar.
• Garnish drinks and learn daily specials.
• Maintain bar and lounge floors and set service areas.

What You’ll Do

As a

Bartender

you’ll play an active part inmaintaining the high level of service that our guests expect with their dining experiences and at our outlets on-site. Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare beverages ordered through point-of-sale system.


• Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.


• Serves wine and draught or bottled beer, prepares espresso drinks to order.


• Perform inventory, turns orders into the manager to maintain inventory par levels, stock and prepare product for the bar.


• Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.


• Learn menu items and daily specials.


• Works the floor in bar and lounge.


• Sets lounge for service.

What We Need

• Obtain a valid TAPS Card.


• Experience in similar Bartender setting preferred.


• Experience in a customer service setting.


• The ability to multitask while providing exceptional guest service.
