Job summary

American Social - Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Front of House teammate to greet guests, guide orders, and suggest menu items with enthusiasm. You will deliver orders promptly and handle payments, while maintaining a welcoming dining experience.

Successful candidates are 18+, available for late-night hours, fluent in English, and hold an alcohol-awareness certificate; food safety certification is a plus. Expect teamwork and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old to serve liquor.
• Able to work late-night shifts (up to 12 AM–3 AM).
• Fluent in English (speak, read, write).
• Alcohol awareness certification required (ServSafe, TIPs, etc.).
• Food handling certificate a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Guide guests through beverage and food ordering with suggestions.
• Describe and sell all menu items confidently.
• Deliver beverages and food efficiently and engage guests.
• Collect payment and invite guests to return.
• Maintain clean tables and stock supplies; support both FOH/BOH.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve liquor.
• Ability to work Late Night shifts, potentially to between 12 AM – 3AM
• Works assigned scheduled shifts
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (i.e Serv Save, TIPs, etc) required
• Food handling certificate a plus
• Fluent in English; able to speak, read, write
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Ability to transport items up to 30 pounds
• Remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
