Uptown Alley is looking for a customer-focused server to provide exceptional service and help create an enjoyable dining experience for guests. You will upsell, process payments, and manage seating to keep service moving smoothly.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, food-safety certification, and the stamina to work in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role includes nights and weekends with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Qualifications

• Certifications in food safety and sanitation (ServSafe or Safe Food Handling).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot, demanding kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Upsell and revenue generation to drive guest satisfaction.
• Handle payment processing and maintain accurate till operations.
• Optimize table turnover and seating arrangements for efficiency.
• Maintain compliance and safety standards in daily operations.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and courteously.
• Demonstrate menu knowledge and provide accurate recommendations.

Education & Qualifications

• Physical Stamina and Endurance-ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks in a hot and demanding kitchen environment

Experience

• Servers should have prior experience working as servers in a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Strong understanding of front-of-house operations, including customer service techniques, order taking, and table service
• Desirable - Previous experience in a high volume restaurant
