Job summary

The Improper Pig in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a part-time Server to join our Front of House team. You will greet guests, answer calls, take to-go orders in absence, promote specials, and help maintain a lively dining room.

Prior FOH experience in a full service restaurant is preferred; 21 years of age is preferred and TIPS training will be provided during training. Join a team focused on hospitality, excellent guest service, and a smooth service flow, with training opportunities and staff meals

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests
• Answers phone calls and takes to-go orders (in absence of Host or To-Go Coordinator)
• Communicates specials, features, and promotions
• Sells add-ons and premium beverage/food items
• Takes timely and correct orders and delivers meals
• Handles cash and tips accurately
• Performs service steps and maintains a lively atmosphere
• Maintains a clean dining room and restrooms during service
• Performs daily opening and closing duties
• Assumes bartending responsibilities in absence of mixologist
• Communicates restaurant operational needs to managers
• Maintains productive relationships across FOH and BOH teams
• Participates in ongoing restaurant training and events

Compensation

• 50% off meal on duty and 20% off duty
