Job summary

Baker's Crust is seeking a personable server to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. You will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Ideal candidates are knowledgeable about our menu, promotions, and beverage options, and comfortable handling POS transactions while upholding liquor regulations and restaurant policies. This role requires on-site presence and teamwork during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverages including taking orders, delivering and clearing items.
• Check and maintain all service areas before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials/promotions for guest awareness.
• Be knowledgeable about our food, wine, beer, liquor and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Take guest orders and input into POS to inform kitchen of order details.
• Retrieve orders from kitchen, confirm accuracy and deliver to guests.
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Abide by state/federal regulations and liquor policies regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift side work.

• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
• Perform all pre-shift and post-shift side work
