Job summary

Wet Willie's in Indianapolis is looking for a friendly server to deliver food and beverages, greet guests, and explain specials to enhance the dining experience. Take orders, input them into the POS system, retrieve and deliver meals, and check guest satisfaction throughout service while following liquor policies.

Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, valid Food Worker Card, and 1 year of serving experience preferred; ability to stand and carry trays for extended periods

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Food Worker Card required.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage to include order-taking, delivery and clearing of items.
• Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explains specials and/or promotions.
• Takes the order and inputs into the POS to inform the kitchen of order details.
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms accuracy and delivers to guests.
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Abide by state, federal regulations and liquor policies pertaining to serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.

• Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
