Job summary

Baker's Crust in Richmond, VA is seeking a friendly server to provide warm hospitality from greeting guests to delivering meals. You will take orders, input them into the POS, coordinate with the kitchen, and ensure accurate, timely service to every guest.

You should be knowledgeable about our food and beverages, maintain clean service areas before, during and after shifts, and uphold liquor policies and safety standards while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
• Checks and maintains all service areas before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explains any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
• Knowledgeable of our food, wine, beer, liquor and non-alcoholic beverages
• Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abides by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
• Performs all pre-shift and post-shift side work
