Job summary

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a Correction Records Sentence Computation/Release Officer BORM to manage inmate sentence calculations, credits, and parole eligibility in the DOTS Portal. The role handles admission documents, correspondence with agencies, and release date adjustments to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities include managing inmate records, scanning to OnBase, running reports, and coordinating with detaining authorities.

Qualifications

• Formal education in arithmetic and basic record processing experience is described in the qualifications.
• Experience with processing adult correctional inmate records and applicable procedures is indicated.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update inmate files in the DOTS Portal by computing and posting sentences and credits.
• Review court records for accuracy and missing information; process admission documents.
• Update DOTS Portal and OnBase document management system; generate reports.
