Job summary

BORM is seeking a Records Management Officer to manage inmate records, update sentences, credits and parole eligibility in the DOTS Portal. You will review court documents for accuracy, maintain correspondence with agencies, and coordinate release paperwork for timely incarceration releases.

Responsibilities include updating DOTS Portal entries, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with registration laws and DNA testing requirements.

Qualifications

• Formal arithmetic education including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals & percentages.
• 12 months of training or experience in processing, reviewing and preparing adult correctional inmate or juvenile offender records and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inmate files in DOTS/DOTS Portal, updating sentences, credits and parole eligibility.
• Reviews court records for admission documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicates with other agencies and courts to verify documents.
• Ensures release authorizations are provided to prisons for timely releases.
• Operates DOTS Portal and OnBase document management system.
• Runs reports in DOTS Portal and Microsoft software.
• Maintains inmate records and legal files with accurate information.
• CLEARS and adjusts release dates based on earned credit as directed.
