Job summary

Four Seasons Lanai is seeking a Dining Assistant to help maintain exceptional dining room service on Lanai. You will clear and reset tables, assist with setup, and ensure guest-ready dining areas throughout service.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, restocking, and supporting team members during busy periods. Legal US work authorization and Hawaii health requirements are essential for employment.

Qualifications

• Legal work authorization in United States.
• Hawaii TB clearance card ( TB clearance required).
• Hawaii Food Handler's Card required for this role.
• Maui Liquor Card preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clear, sanitize, and reset dining tables with clean linens, silverware, condiments, and glassware.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness by removing used dishes and trash and restocking supplies.
• Support opening and closing operations by restocking beverages and supplies and setting up service areas.
• Assist with dining room setup and support during high-volume service periods.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage service standards to ensure proper setup and guest support.
• Transport dirty dishes and utensils to designated cleaning areas and maintain a safe environment.

DINING ASSISTANT

Sensei Lāna'i , A Four Seasons Resort, is looking for a Dining Assistant who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams' have the opportunity to shape our guest exp erience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Clear, sanitize, and reset dining tables with clean linens, silverware, condiments, and glassware while preparing tables for subsequent courses and guest seating
• Maintain dining room cleanliness by removing used dishes and trash, replenishing water, napkins, and condiments, and ensuring side stations remain organized and fully stocked throughout service
• Support opening and closing operations by restocking beverages and supplies, polishing silverware and glassware, setting up water stations and ice buckets, and completing side station setup and breakdown
• Assist with dining room setup and maintenance, including arranging tables and chairs, preparing service areas, and supporting team members during high-volume service periods
• Maintain knowledge of coffee, tea, and specialty non-alcoholic beverage service standards to ensure proper setup, presentation, and guest support
• Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils to designated cleaning areas while helping maintain a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment throughout the restaurant

WHAT TO BRING

• S uccessful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required .
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
• Hawaii Food Handler's Card is required for this role
• Maui Liquor Card Preferred, but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 5 0 lbs , and push/pull as needed during shifts
