Job summary

CCBC is seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach non‑credit courses for adult learners across multiple CCBC campuses in Maryland. In-person instruction is primary, with some Zoom options, for a range of senior-focused fitness and wellness topics.

Applicants should demonstrate subject matter expertise and provide a concise summary of teaching preferences and the county area they'd be willing to serve. Pay rates are commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
  • Academic degree or professional certification in a related discipline preferred.
  • Must be a subject matter expert.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Experience teaching or training in an adult setting preferred.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Experience working with a diverse population.

Responsibilities

  • Teach college level non‑credit courses to students 60+ that focus on Tai Chi, Yoga, Chair Pilates, Zumba Gold, Line Dancing, Lively Drumming, or Water Aerobics.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and contribute to class planning across CCBC campuses.

Part‑time instructors teach college level non‑credit course tostudents60+ that focus on Tai Chi, Yoga Chair Pilates, Zumba Gold,Line Dancing, Lively Drumming, or Water Aerobics .


Classes are offered during the day at Catonsville, Dundalk, Essex,Hunt Valley and Owings Mills campuses along with senior centers andretirement communities throughout Baltimore County . Courses areoffered primarily in‑person along with some Zoom classes .


Applicants should be subject matter experts and provide a summaryof what they would like to teach along with the area of the countywhere they would be willing to work.


Pay rates for non-credit courses in Continuing education arecommensurate with education and experience qualifications.
